Felix is licensed to practice law in Florida state courts and in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Prior to starting the firm, Felix was an Associate with The Ticktin Law Group, where he practiced primarily in the areas of real estate and business litigation. 

Felix earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law where he focused his studies on tax litigation, corporate tax, partnership tax, and estate and gift tax. Felix earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and graduated magna cum laude from Ave Maria School of Law. 

Felix formed The Montañez Law Firm in May of 2015. The firm specializes in real estate transactions and litigation and business law. Originally from Orlando, Felix lives in Tampa (Go Bucs!) with his wife and their two sons.

Felix has over a decade of experience in nearly all aspects of real estate law including title services, land trusts, foreclosure, evictions, quiet title actions, partitions, and commercial leasing,
