Hillsborough Scraps Curfew, Says No to Mask Mandate

The Hillsborough County Emergency Policy Group voted unanimously to rescind the curfew they had agreed to just this past Monday.  The group changed course apparently because the curfew caused more confusion than anything else.  As I wrote before, it wasn’t clear what the curfew changed.

Even policy group members disagreed over whether the curfew allowed individuals to walk their dog or go jogging after curfew.

After their last meeting on Monday, it seemed a surety that they would agree on a mask mandate.  The group backed down on that proposal as well. Quite a change of course in just a few days.
